A terrorist plotting to set of bombs on American soil is behind bars today, thanks to the efforts of local law enforcement acting on an anonymous tip. And no, that terrorist isn’t a Muslim… it’s a white man, a radical conservative, and an avid supporter of Donald J. Trump.

55-year old William Celli of Richmond, California was taken into custody on Monday after police received an anonymous tip. Authorities say Celli had been crafting improvised explosives, which they wouldn’t specify on, and that he was planning to use those devices against Muslims.

Raw Story tracked down Celli’s Facebook page, where the right-wing domestic terrorist had repeatedly posted status updates praising Donald Trump, while verbally assaulting undocumented workers, Syrian Refugees, liberals, and just about everyone else you’d expect a Donald Trump supporter to rail against.

“Donald Trumps on again I’m feeling good about myself,” Celli posted on October 28. That comment had been preceded by another pro-Trump statement, from the 21st: “Donald trumps on again I’m happy leaders okay but this guys a great point man I’ll follow this MAN to the end of the world.”

Of course, exactly zero people on the planet are surprised to learn that a Trump supporter heard his calls for right-wing jihad and took them seriously. So far, in the past few months alone, Trump has called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States, hinted toward forcing Muslim-Americans to wear ID badges or be entered into some form of database, and more… it shouldn’t come as a shock when one of his bigoted supporters plots a terrorist act. Chances are, there are a lot more Trump supporters lying in wait that we don’t know about yet.

Trump demanded Monday morning that possible general election rival Hillary Clinton apologize after she referred to Trump as ISIS’ best recruiting tool during the Democratic primary debate Saturday evening. Hillary’s campaign responded with precisely the two words they should have used: “Hell no.”

While Politifact does rate Clinton’s claim as “false,” the intentions of William Celli and the behavior of Trump supporters in general prove beyond any reason of doubt that the words of a Neanderthal can, in fact, radicalize fellow weak-minded simpletons into carrying out violent acts. Donald Trump is the Ayman al-Zawahiri of American right-wing terrorists, and every bigoted, sleazy, dimwitted comment that goofy-haired thug belches out into the aether has the potential of radicalizing one or more fringe jihadists like William Celli. Forget Muslims extremists… it’s terrorists emblazoned in huge gold “TRUMP” logos that I’m worried about.
